You are a flavor. Some people will find you absolutely delicious and others will find you totally repugnant. And that is a GOOD thing. You want people to like you for the flavor that you are.  And you want people to not like you for the flavor that you are.

If you’re strawberry and you’re trying to be vanilla, you might get people to like your “new” flavor, but it isn’t the real you.  It’s a complete waste of time.  It’s exhausting.  And it does three big disservices.

  1. You’re doing a disservice to all the people freaking LOVE strawberry.
  2. You’re doing a disservice to all the vanilla lovers who will eventually just discover, when your thin mask melts away, that you’re really strawberry.
  3. You’re doing a disservice to yourself  because you’re not honoring the person that you are.

There are tons of people out there who will love, adore, support, and enjoy the REAL you, as you are.   The sooner you fully embrace your flavor, the sooner you will attract those people and experiences that match that.

You are a flavor.  Let people taste the real you.
